Lots of new restaurant openings in West Palm Beach lately. It’s really fun for me, checking out all the new places. And they are all within walking distance, which is great. Here are a few of my favorites as of late…
Felice, 360 Rosemary
This place is a sexy, beautiful and golden mirrored vibe. I’ve eaten at the bar twice and the service is top-notch. (So are the prices though. Forewarned.)
The first time I went, I had the Carciofi e Calamari (fried artichokes and calamari) and it was fantastic. The second time I went, I had the Melanzane alla Parmigiana (eggplant parm) and it was very good. But my mom’s is better! But still…such a good vibe here. When I have the riches I deserve, I will eat here all the time. They’re now open for breakfast/brunch. Which I need to try out!
Adrienne’s Pizza Bar, 360 Rosemary
Adrienne’s just opened the other week and it doesn’t seem like there’s been a lot of press around it.
I dropped in for an early dinner one night and the pizza of the week — shrimp tequila — and it was FANTASTIC. Note I am from Long Island, NY originally so we have our standards. Crust was thin and tasty. You can find a lot of thin crusts but it’s not often that you get a tasty crust. I was very happy here.
Yolk, Clematis Street
I think I was there the 2nd day they opened! The space is definitely no-frills but my breakfast burrito was everything I wanted. The side of grits though was comically large though.
Garden District Taproom, Quadrille
I absolutely LOVE this place. Although the day I visited, there was an emo guitarist signing his lungs out, which was just a little too much. However, I loved trying so many beers. The wristband system is very cool too!!
Pumphouse Pouratorium, Grandview
I fell in love with Pumphouse coffee at the West Palm Beach Greenmarket from my first visit, way back in October of 2019. Those innocent pre-pandemic days, when we had no idea what was coming for us. I was sad that they didn’t really have a coffeeshop in West Palm at the time, although I think they opened up in Grandview Market eventually. Well, now they have their own amazing coffee roastery and cafe/bar/restaurant and it is awesome!!! I absolutely love it. I just need to figure out the bus system in West Palm so I don’t have to drive or walk there.
So…if you have stumbled across my sorely neglected blog somehow and you live in West Palm Beach, let me know what your latest favorite places are.
