I’ve been spending a lot of time in Port St Lucie lately, taking care of my mom who has advanced Parkinson’s Disease. Port St Lucie is not the most hip and happening place but there are a lot of mom-and-pop restaurants here, which I kinda love. I love a strip mall restaurant! That being said, the purpose of this post is not to talk about strip mall restaurants. Rather, it’s to tell you about the best restaurants in Port St Lucie, or the Pizzle as my cousin calls it. I can’t possibly call these places fine dining restaurants because it is Port St Lucie afterall, but I do think this is the best of what Port St Lucie has to offer.

OK, now onto the restaurants…
Kyle G’s Oyster and Wine Bar, 1724 St Lucie W Blvd, Port St. Lucie
My absolute favorite restaurant in PSL, hands down. Bang bang shrimp is so addictive and this is coming from someone who tries not to eat anything fried. One of if not the best wine lists in PSL. If you are solo dining or just a twosome, make a reservation for the bar that overlooks the kitchen in the back. That is so much fun! Kyle G’s is really the closest you will get to a fine dining restaurant in Port St Lucie.
Oak and Ember, 848 SE Becker Rd, Port St. Lucie
A very close second. Not surprisingly, the same owners run both Kyle G’s and Oak and Ember. Also a great wine list. If you are looking for fine dining in Port St Lucie, here and Kyle G’s are the best options.
Zest, 1347 St Lucie W Blvd, Port St. Lucie
I love this friendly neighborhood place. They are a great addition to the Port St Lucie food scene. I haven’t had breakfast here — just lunch and dinners. Wine list more mainstream but Whispering Angel by the glass is a surprisingly good value. A more casual restaurants but higher end food for the area.
Luso Portuguese Grill, 11566 SW Village Pkwy, Port St. Lucie
It’s nice to see someone in PSL doing something interesting. I like sitting outside when the weather is just right. The flaming sausage is always a good time. An interesting wine list for the Treasure Coast! If you like Portuguese food, let me set you up with a magical Portuguese vacation! Get in touch. There are some amazing river cruises on the Duero River in Portugal.
Fernando’s Dockside Grill, 2214 SE Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Port St. Lucie
Another Portuguese place! Who would have guessed it. I’ve been going here for years. Although I haven’t been here in a while! I need to go back. This might be my third choice for fine dining in Port St Lucie.
Ramen Hana & Wings, 6935 Heritage Dr, Port St. Lucie
It may slightly feel like you are eating in a shipping container, but this place dishes out some great ramen and Japanese salaryman snacks. I also do a lot of luxury Japan trips for my clients so if Japan is on your bucket list, let me organize a great trip for you! Get in touch here.
Mofongo King, 295 SW Port St Lucie Blvd
This place is a bit off-putting from the outside. They’ve wrapped the windows so you can’t see inside. But once you are inside, the mofongo (mashed plantains) is just so so good. The last time I was here, I got the shrimp mofongo and it was so delicious. There were olives in it?! Yum.
Tutto Fresco, 9501 Reserve Blvd, Port St. Lucie
I have a love-hate relationship with this place. I think it’s crazy that it has valet parking. (Although maybe they are trying to prevent car accidents in the small parking lot.) I hate the garlic bread. But I like the early bird specials!! EVERYONE seems to love this place. So maybe I am in the minority. This is a crowd-pleaser. Also, it’s a great place for solo dining as there is a huge bar in the back room.
Ristorante Corleone, 8621 S Federal Hwy, Port St. Lucie,
Truth be told, I haven’t been here in ages. BUT it was good. Uncomfortably packed but good. Feels more authentically Italian than Tutto Fresco. Shhhh don’t tell Tutto Fresco I said that.
I specifically left off Meeting Street here. It just feels meh to me. But I will keep trying. Also, I like West End Grill in PSL West BUT it’s very casual. The above places are a bit nicer.
